As the projectteam we have the goal to give you the opportunity to connect to this unique spiritual initiation, which will be of tremendous power for the good luck and success of your life(s). Given our limited capacties we try to do this in a pure, peacefull and harmonious way. As the projectteam we have the wish to really connect with you. For this reason we would like to introduce ourselves. Not only by our jobs en pictures, but with our own personal motivation and story.

A story that deserves a special place, is the one about the Father of Lama Jigmé Namgyal. This story expresses the true meaning of the Kalachakra initiation for a Tibetan buddhist practisioner, and it definitly touched our hearts….
 

The wise lesson from the father of Lama Jigme

In the fall of 2005 I met the family of Lama Jigmé in Kathmandu when they were on their way to a Kalachakra initiation of HH The Dalai Lama in the south of India. At that time I had no clue of the value, the depth and meaning, but that would change soon …

It was the father of Lama Jigme who made clear to me that this is the most precious initiation you could receive in your life. He also convinced me with passion, dedication and gestures of the invaluable positive karmic effects and opportunities for favorable rebirths. The boundless energy, dedication and passion with which he did this, made a deep impression on me.

For him, getting the Kalachakra initiation of His Holiness the Dalai Lama was something he never dared to dream about. “It was everything for which he had done all the serious hardships during his lifetime and for which he was willing to sacrifice everything. “This he expressed whit a remarkable statement in which he summarized the meaning of his entire life: “After this fortunate invaluable initiation, I am at all times ready and happy to die.” With tears in his eyes and intense gratitude he praised his son Lama Jigme Namgyal, who with courage, intelligence and determination made this possible for him and his family.

When Lama Jigmé asked me to organize this Buddhatrip last summer, my thoughts went immediately back to this moment, and the first thought that came up to me was: “If the initiation for his father was the ultimate moment of this life, then the Kalachakra initiation by HH the Dalai Lama in Bodhagaya, must be for many the ultimate moment for many or even all lives.”

Thanks to the wise lesson by Lama Jigme’s father, I realize that exactly this Kalachakra initiation is the most powerful and valuable spiritual opportunity in the chain of many lives. Anyone who connects to this, will create invaluable fortunate karmic connections.
